Message	Maximum backspacing on the rear seems to be around 7-8 inches. You might be able to get some more if you shave down the HICAS knuckle so that the rim can go around it, but we'll assume 7" since that's a worst case scenario. With a 12" rim, you need to make the offset so that you get 5" of the rim going out from the wheel hub. Offset is measured from the center line of the rim, so you'd need +1" of offset to have a 7" rim backspace. 1" = 25.4mm, so your offset would be +25.4. This is just a rough guesstimation and I'd think you'd want to go with as positive an offset as you can to decrease bearing wear. You may want to look at your current wheels and see if you think you could have more rim going inward. If not, then you know you have to grow the rim going out for a 12" rim. David
